What smoothing is and how to use it
WaveSurgeon has the ability to smooth saved segments, or in other words, extend
their length using an advanced algorithm. This means that beats can now be slowed
down easily without glitching or artefacts. To make use of this, ensure that the
option is checked in the mapping dialog, and adjust the smoothing percentage as
required. If the samples have an obvious ætailÆ on playback, simply reduce the
smoothing setting.
